The supervision services are categorized as high priority by our supervision teams to ensure effective implementation of the terms incorporated in the consultancy agreement. The members of each team are expert individuals guaranteeing high quality service and essential administration of every activity on the construction sites. Their duties are focused upon supervising and regulating the contractor’s role in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications and conditions provided in the contract. The client is informed of every progress made by the contractor on the development. The construction supervision followed by our professionals encompass around monitoring and administering the supervision teams during construction. They keep a track on compliance with designs, quality, technical specifications, drawings and conditions of the contract. The below mentioned stages outlines our construction supervision procedure and the prerequisites to ensure accurate coordination with our clientele:
  • Communication of the client’s specifications and concerns with the contractor, sub-contractors, site staff and any involved personnel.
  •  Issuance of all site instructions to the awarded contractor.
  • Establishing approval of all contractors’ material submittals and shop drawings in coordination with the client.
  • Check contractors bending schedules and work drawings.
  • Conducting regular site meetings to regulate the progress of the operation and report to client with updates.
  • Issuance of the “Engineers’ Certificates of Valuation” and other certification of approval as required under the contract provided by the consultant.
  • Preparation of monthly progress reports.
  • Supervision of the installation and commission of all mechanical and electrical equipment along with issuing certificates of completion upon successful commissioning.
  • Performance of all additional duties undertaken by our engineers as defined by the conditions of contract.
  • Arranging the handover stages of the project. - Check the contractor’s “as-built” drawings; organize to operate manuals and outline the guarantees for the client.
  • The day-to-day regulation and liaison with the client, the cost control issues, the general progress of the operation and project coordination with all the concerned parties. In order to achieve satisfactory completion of the development, all parties are also required to provide assurance of the delivery of individual goals and commitments.
  • Liaising all instructions and orders given for the procurement of long lead items with the contractors’ teams.
  • Follow up and coordinate all financial matters with the client and resolve budgeting and cost problems.
  • Following-up and reporting to the client on the overall progress of the development, identifying problems and issuing the appropriate guidelines of approved corrective actions to take effect in order to avoid any delays and inaccuracies.
  • Certifying and submitting all payment certificates from the contractors to the client.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the on-site contractor’s quality control.
  • Managing the documents for the entire project.
  • Arranging project audits as required with approval of the client.
  • Ensuring observation of on-site health and safety standards and providing rectifications as required. Defect Liability Period
  • The consultant will carry out the inspections requested by the client.
  • Performing inspections of the defects and supervising the rectification procedures carried out by the contractor and sub-contractors during the construction period.
  • Commencing and coordinating a survey of the development and equipments used upon the completion of the defects liability period with the client and giving instructions to the contractor for any replacement and remedial action required prior to issuing the Defects Liability Certificate.
